As the Lead Web Developer and System Administrator for this project, I was responsible for the complete software development lifecycle, from planning and architecture design to deployment, optimization, security, and long-term maintenance. My role extended beyond simply building a website; I designed a scalable digital publishing platform capable of handling thousands of daily visitors while ensuring high availability, security, and excellent performance.
The project focused on creating an efficient content management environment where journalists and editors could publish breaking news quickly while maintaining editorial workflows. At the same time, the website was optimized to deliver a seamless reading experience on desktops, tablets, and smartphones. Search Engine Optimization (SEO), performance optimization, structured data implementation, and social media integration were key priorities to maximize audience reach and engagement.
Since digital journalism requires continuous availability and rapid content delivery, the platform was built with reliability and scalability in mind. Automated backups, security monitoring, caching mechanisms, and regular maintenance ensured uninterrupted service while protecting valuable editorial content. The project demonstrates my expertise in web development, Linux server administration, DevOps, and digital media infrastructure.
